Avocational archaeologists, including George N. Gogo (1907–1995), Clyde C. Kennedy (1919–1987), Gordon D. Watson (1917–2007), and T.W. Edwin Sowter (1860-1932), were dedicated to the study of artefacts along the length of the Kichi Sibi, while further discoveries are still being made today.
